Breeze Shares Website and App Insights at The Lawyers Retreat 2025
In May 2025, Breeze was invited to speak at The Lawyers Retreat, a private event for forward-thinking law firm leaders hosted in Ibiza by Hive Risk and Aries Legal Practice Management.
Across three days, over thirty law firms and business leaders gathered to discuss growth, marketing, and innovation in the legal sector. Breeze Founder Liam Mitchell delivered a 45-minute session focused on how law firms can transform their websites from static brochures into conversion-driven growth tools.
The Core Message: Your Website Is Where Marketing Wins or Fails
Liam’s talk focused on the “above the fold” section of law firm websites, the critical area that every visitor sees first.
He challenged attendees to shift their perspective:
“Most firms write their websites for themselves, not their clients.”
The session covered practical principles for building websites that convert:

- Including clear calls-to-action (CTAs) that guide visitors.
- Showcasing proof and credibility to build instant trust.
- Using simple, intuitive navigation that reduces friction.
Delegates were encouraged to review their own websites in real time and identify missed opportunities to convert interest into enquiries.
“Whether you’re investing in social media, PR, or paid ads, every marketing effort eventually leads back to your website,” Liam explained. “If that site isn’t built to compete and close, you’re wasting hard-earned traffic.”
Collaboration Beyond the Event
The value of The Lawyers Retreat went far beyond the presentation.
Over the following days, Liam connected with other speakers including Strategic Coach, PR by Whitney, and United Wolves Productions, sparking meaningful discussions about marketing, brand building, and digital positioning in the legal space.
Those conversations quickly evolved into collaborations. Breeze has since partnered with PR by Whitney to design and develop their new website, alongside several new law firm projects that came directly from the retreat.
