E.Tupling is a family-owned business that was founded in 1966. They are a leading distributor of building plastics, plumbing plastics, renewables and underfloor heating (UFH) systems. They provide high-quality products to merchants and distributors across the UK.
This brand constantly strives to provide ‘unrivalled and seamless personalised customer service.’ E. Tupling also offer its merchant partners an ever-expanding choice of products and market-leading innovative solutions. Alongside this, the company is now an official member of The Builders Merchants Federation. Being a member of the BMF allows E.Tupling to better serve its merchants via enhanced training and expertise.
E.Tupling reached out and needing help creating a brand new app, as the company had reached a new level due to expansive growth and needed to speed up the process of when it came to their customers wanting instant quotes and placing orders for renewables and UFH.
They wanted to create an app, exclusively for their merchant customers that not only improved speed but also increased sales.
The main challenge was to develop an app that would make ordering with the company extremely fast. So, we had to ensure the app was easy to use for everyone.
The app needed to be user-friendly, basic, but professional. E.Tupling’s customers needed to navigate the app quickly and in minimal pages, from opening the app to order completion. They also needed minimal barriers to customers wanting to placing an order within the app.
When developing an app, it’s incredibly important to understand what the client wants and needs. It is also imperative to know how the app will enhance their business. So with all of that in mind, we sat down with E.Tupling every step of the way to ensure we were always on the same page and working to the same goal.
After listening to what the brand wanted and needed, we began planning and developing the new app. We focused on making the app easy to navigate, with minimal steps between launching the app and placing an order.
We stayed in communication with E.Tupling and made any necessary changes before launching the final app. We had a clear and concise vision and requirements from the brand, we made sure we hit every point for this internal app.
With E.Tupling’s new customer app, instead of orders from their merchants taking 1-2 days, they now take 30 seconds to complete. Their new app is available on Android and iPhone, making it easy for anyone to order with them from any mobile device. It was also developed to be a desktop version too, perfect for the merchant trade counters.
Now, E.Tupling are making more sales and pleasing more customers across the UK. It is straightforward for their merchants to get precisely what they need, when needed, without waiting days.
